Jade ThomasExecutive Director / Founder
Jade Thomas is a mother, entrepreneur and the founder and Executive Director of Becoming Kings and Queens. She earned both her Bachelors and Masters degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix. Through her experience working in corporate America, in the insurance and benefits administration industry, she has learned first hand how working together positively encourages team members. As a result, she has vowed to find innovative ways to support and foster leadership in the next generation. She is passionate about service and truly believes that we are responsible for ensuring the success of the next generation. Realizing the importance of mentorship, Jade is excited to help bring the best out of our youth and children. As a single mother herself, Jade understands the importance of “it takes a village to raise a child” and invests in her son, Calvin, to ensure that he is a “Strong, Smart, Kind Black King” everyday. |
Susie WilliamsMrs. Susie D. Williams, devoted mother and wife started her professional career in 2008 as an infant room teacher for the YWCA where she received her Child Development Associate Credentials in infant/Toddler development. She went on to receive her Associate’s in Early Childhood Education from San Jacinto Community College being inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success earning the Presidential Award and giving the induction speech. Now a Texas State Licensed Director; Mrs. Williams is also a Cognitive Behavioral Life Coach Practitioner helping individuals release negative thoughts hindering their personal growth and regaining positive solutions to promote a healthy lifestyle and mindset. She has recently became a Board Certified Registered Behavioral Therapist developing her skills to serve children and families from all backgrounds. With so much love and passion for early childhood learning Mrs. Williams is also a Self-Published Children’s Book Author promoting positive self talk through education. Nevertheless, as an entrepreneur , she’s a dedicated and powerful black woman coming to take up space in the world paving the way for young black girls along the way.

Jessica ThomasBoard Member
Jessica Thomas is a registered behavioral therapist in the Greater Houston area. She holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Psychology from St. Edwards University in Austin, TX. Jessica's strong passion for working with children over the past 10 years has guided her toward her current Masters program where she will receive her Master's in Psychology with a focus in child and adolescent development. Outside of school and work, Jessica volunteers for her home church and loves taking care of her best friend, her nephew- Calvin. |
